What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

I'm really excited from these Anniversary Edition variants to come out. The next few weeks should be awesome! In the meantime I'll play with these:

Boy Fred you've added to your collection nicely, great pictures to boot:thumbup:
I promised myself I would stop when I got that last clip/pen long pull. Then Charlie had to come out the red soup bone and rosewood and now I'm frothing like a rabid racoon. :D

I have to say, I really like the single Che Chen Rose. Not a fan of the nail nick, but I like the size more than I thought I would, and I love the color and finish of the wood scales. If I can find a new Rosewood single clip with the long pull, I have a first and second born to trade. And a cat that keeps peeing on the rug.

I think the crack in the dam is about to break open....red soupbones and some rosewood driftwood are seen piling up close to the spillway.....

Hard to teach an old dog new etc, etc.

At least "Sapphire" commiserates!

I suspect the Barlow River is about to flow!!

Never feel sorry for a guy that has a Charlow roll the size of Texas.:D:D

The water was flowing when I got home from the diner tonight. I had a nice Ribeye for dinner and delicious looking red bone soup on it's way to a soupless home.:thumbup::thumbup::D Very thankful for the soup and no driftwood coming to Primbleville.

Thank you for your outstanding ideas and giving us such a fantastic design for this Anniversary knife.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:;)

P.S. - I would feel sorry for you if you did not get one, however, unlikely. :)

Pretty bone on the Queen Jon.:)

Jack there was NEVER any disrespect intended. I would've hoped my character could have spoken for itself, I guess not:) For those offended I am guilty as charged.

I was on here very little yesterday Paul, and hadn't seen your knife - actually I STILL haven't, just your PM, for which thanks my friend :)

Jack

PS I should add that my comment was a direct response to PMEW's:

This is too much - these beautiful red soup bone barlows are a wonderful celebration of the last couple of years work by Charlie, they aren't even finished yet and already I'm reading about people wanting to put cap lifters on them. Jack, avert your eyes!

Which is why I quoted it
