What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Excited for the new release is an understatement. Beautiful wood Charlie.

Mark, love the Brazilian Rosewood brother:thumbup::cool:

Here's an interesting TC!!

Speaking of flaws... Charlie that knife is obviously a second: year on the tang is incorrect, 4 knotholes in the wood, unstablized and untreated lumbar... Send me a PM or email, and I will take it off your hands for a fair price. ;)

Hey! Somebody turned me GOLD! This is great but I would sure like to know who it is. Hey Scott, let me know if this cunning plan works for you,,,,,LoL! :D

Charlie the blade and the label on my Brazilian Rosewood say 2013 even though it was made in 2014.

I like the Incense Wood...err...Palo Santo Wood :D

Those Sheepfoot Blades are over-runs from the 2013 Sheepfoot order, Mark.
I like the Palo Santo also. (sits there rubbing it with his fingers!! extreme coon-fingering!!)

Thank you Charlie, since you are one of the main reasons I'm over here now! I still wish I knew all you know my friend! Barry is the other one and all the great folks I have since made friends with here! Mark, you might have a very good Friday coming tomorrow!:D

Golds lookin good on ya Perry!...... whoever did that for you-knows that you really are a great guy!

Charlie-the first time I saw that Palo I fell for it...THAT is incredible and is now at the VERY top of the list for my next TC!!! Beautiful, just Beautiful.

Charlie, how will the newer sheepsfoot blades appear different? Oh, and are you going to the Oregon knife show? Thanks

Payton206, would you mind sharing any details about this show?

I'm not Payton, but the Oregon knife show will be held in Eugene OR on the 11th and 12th of April in the Lane Events Center. It is the best knife show west of the Mississippi, and maybe the best show on the planet. I'll be there hangin' with Charlie and other friends and we'd love to meet you!

The technical name for the Oregon show is the 2015 OKCA Show (Oregon Knife Collectors Assn.).

Congratulations, Perry! This forum is an amazing place to hang out; almost every day I find something here that leaves me happily speechless.

I'd LOVE to make it to the Oregon show someday!
Hey Dan, I'm flying halfway across the country, you should too! It's the best traditional knife show, IMO. You will see knives there that you've only dreamt of seeing! Thank you Duncan and GT! The sheepfoot blades are among my favorites as well! Their top profile is very pocket friendly!
