Too easy!!:grumpy:

Good eye, Mark!;) I figured someone would nail the scratting, but you got the pins just as quickly!

What else do you see?:)

WOW O WOW!!! that is one fantastic dream and concept brought to life as only you can Charlie. While I have already used my summer vacation getting my daughter to collage and have no hope of snagging one of these beauties as I cant get more time off, I sure hope we see some form of this in a future knife we can all possibly add to all of our heritages through a future TC roll-out :D

Looking Good Charlie, it was a while ago when you first hinted that we may see some scratting on a Barlow when we were viewing the old knives that were salvaged from the sunken Steamship, that with the Lambsfoot is a bang-on idea for the next TC.

Charlie - it's about time you had a blade stamp my friend - a long time coming, but well worth the wait!:thumbup:

Edit:, I havent got my hands on the last release of the TC Range!, its so hard keeping up, i keep begging Mr. Hilborn to send me my knives - but he never answers me :( :p

I have been so busy at work I have been falling behind here. Looks like I have some major catching up to do. I do hope I get some time tomorrow, this thread always makes me jealous.

Thanks for the very kind words, all of you!
I need this encouragement to keep on doing these crazy things!!

Details:
>All are single blades!

>They are not highly finished, in keeping with the traditions of the time they were designed to reflect!
You will see some scale from the forging and heat treatment, on both the bolsters and blades. This will in no way affect the function and usefulness!!!!

>The rivets are mostly hammered, where possible.

>Most are scratted, but a few are more plain, for those who prefer smooth handles.

You will see them in Titusville!!

That's really cool innit. I hate to break this to you all, but the Titusville gathering has been moved to Calif. last minute See you all there. Bring those TC's btw.

Beautifully rugged, Charlie. If I am fortunate enough to get one, it will go right in the pocket!

I've never been so jealous of you rendezvous-goers! Congratulations!

I sure hope a version anything like that gets put into the regular production.

Here is the lineup of the "Ancients"!

They should be in the hands of the usual BF member dealers in 2-3 weeks:

The top one I call "Parchment". It's a smooth bone, and some will be a bit more uneven, but will look generally like this one.
Next is the "Scratted Bone", which I have been wanting to do for years!!
Finally, we have variegated Ebony, which is considered a lower grade, but which I think is much more interesting than a lot of the blackwoods we see.

Hope you like them!!
