Simple one today

Thanks to a little trading with Charlie I now have one in the collection I didn't think I would ever manage to find. Thanks again Charlie.

Great Barlows, John, especially the Tip Top.

Those Tip Tops are great, but the blade steel on them must have been soft. I have 2, and both have worn tangs and very little snap.

Great looking Camilus, Augie! I love a nice long pull clip.

Thanks guys, that Camillus is one of my favorites.

Glenn, not sure if its the steel or heavy use and never lubing the joints, I do find quite a few with worn tangs but they are almost always dry and rusty.

WG, nice spears, love the ones with the swedge.

Chief, nice covers, did you do them?

Here is this weeks haul of Barlows, a Queen Dan Burke, a German made Russell and a vintage Kutmaster. All 3 are bone and in great shape.

Holy Llama Loins, Gus!! Very impressive!!:thumbup: What "treatment" did you give the blades to get that uniform patina??:cool: I've been through infatuations with various straightedge blades, wharncliffe and sheepsfoot in particular, but I've decided that my heart belongs to spearpoints! :D

Another week, another awe-filled congratulations over the fantastic barlows you track down, Augie!:eek::thumbup: Your "Barlow productivity" knows no bounds!!:p
