Lol yeah that little toad was right at 9 lb 12oz. Would've been a qualifier had it been during one of my tournaments.

I think I have ogled this thread enough to know that I want to seek out a Stew's Blade as my first TC

Beautiful #77!

Have you ogled enough to know whether you prefer a one- or two-bladed Stew's Blade?

It's a continual conundrum for me. I love having a secondary on most "jack knives," with my razor-mained Stew's Blade and Boy's Knife being no exceptions-- I welcome the secondary pen to supplement the unique, "broken spear" mains.

And yet... and yet... could someone who requires the easy-open of the main blade access the secondary pen? Is it... vestigial?

What say (all of) ye?

I have the same one.Really like the Stag and the CPM154.I only complaint is the finishing on Queen products. I am not uber picky but come on people, step it up a little.

there is a blue bone and MoP shield that looks gorgeous! saw it from Comeuppance's post, my that ones pretty

Just added the clip to complete the trifecta! Rust-red sawcut on a double TC is my favorite setup.

Congrats, Gus, on your success with your TC collection! Those rust-red sawcuts are incredible, and you must be a persistent and well-informed searcher!
I don't post it every day, but I could: your TC photos are top-notch!!:thumbup:
I don't have any TC Barlows, but I certainly agree with you that a Barlow (and for me, any jackknife) ought to have two blades. :D

Congrats on a beautiful threesome, Gus!

Speaking of Gus, I was able to get this yellow bone, 2-bladed Day's Work from him on the Exchange. This was the melding of two of my want list items - yellow bone and 2-blade Day's Work - in one Barlow. Yay! I also have a Rust Red Saw Cut Stew's Blade coming in from one of our Canadian forumites. This has been a good week! :)
