My three favorite 1974 Case, S&M Winterbottom gifted to me by mrknife and my first Barlow a Colonial given to me by my grandfather and rehandled by Glennbad.
That's a very nice looking one from mrknife. The stag Glenn put on the colonial is some wonderful figured stag.
Here's the current state of barlows. I went from having only 1 WLST to 6 in 2 weeksThey multiply...

Question for inexpensive barlows:
What is your all's opinion of Utica, Bear & Son, German Bull?
I love my RR's,Schrade and numerous old Russells, IXLs, Remingtons and a few other brands. Not into expensive knives like TC, Queen, etc. Just looking to add a few inexpensive, but good, barlows to the group.
Thanks
Rich
Wanted to add my latest project before it heads to its new NY owner

Last year I walked into a knife shop that carried Bear and Son, Utica, and Taylor Brand Schrade. After looking at several of the B&S and Uticas, I ended up going with the Schrade. The Schrade had much better fit and finish, better grind, and an overall better sense of attention to detail for me at less than half the price of the other two. Granted, the Old Timer two tone, saw cut delrin may not be as pretty at a distance as the other two, but up close it just looked and felt like a better knife.
Hope this helps.
