Thanks for changing the flow of this thread, Sarah!
Much nicer stuff to look at, read and contemplate! Sigh - I am at peace.

I have a similar Lilac bush by my front gate, and it is just bursting into bloom also. Strangely it's not growing any Barlows though!!??!!:)

I am trying to get GEC to do a run of Marrow Bones!! I mean, they do Primitive Bone, and other Ancient crude stuff, not to mention Gnarly stag. Why not Marrow I ask ya???

a-HEM.

What have ye done now?!

White Chocolate Barlows?

Real® Ugly Barlows?

Real Ugly® Barlows?

Innards Knives!

(And I thought my [beloved] barlow was ugly. ;))

I find the above knives oddly compelling....

I really had to laugh... great post!

But, imo, the new bone on these #15 Charlows are somehow great looking and seem to be really interessting.

Are the ones shown in the pic "Primitve bone" or any other sort of their bone. (I didn´t understand it somehow)

No, not stag.

Thanks for showing us your Pile-Pen and Mark-Pen Case Barlows Ed! And they have Marrow Bone!!
Very Nice!!

I believe the clue is in that last question (all bolded text is my addition). ;)

Thanks for the emails, boys and girls!!
They do look cool!! I've been campaigning for these for quite a while, and Bill at GEC finally decided to give it a try. He surprised me a couple of weeks ago, when he said they were in the works with some leftover parts, and Sarah's superior spy network does it again, spilling the beans!! Thanks, ~P! (how much do you pay those people??)

To do these, you basically look through your bone cutoffs that are too thin to give you a "full" slice, but have an interesting (and somewhat centered, I see) texture on the inner side. As long as one side is full to meet the liner, the outer side that you see, can be anything!
I can't wait to see them in person!

I am sure I'll have more information over the next day or two - woo hoo!! Come to papa!!

I am sure we'll get a "those are ugly!" comment or two, but I am oddly compelled!:D

Far from ugly, neither do they make me oddly compelled...I like the looks of those dudes!

Oh, and I like "White Chocolate Bar - lows" best

Oh my. The ones that have "divots" (surely not the correct term) are superb. Alas the money tree has finally run dry. Sigh.
