Thanks Drew, I bought it on a whim. It has become one of my favorites to carry. The shape makes it fit just right in your hand and also your pocket. It certainly is not as nice as those TC’s you have in terms of fit and finish, but there is something unique about it. Congrats on those great looking Barlow’s!
 
There is something special about it, the lines of it.. I love the handle shape. Looking forward to seeing more pictures of that one. And thank you regarding my Barlow’s :thumbsup:

It is a pattern designed by Trevor Ablett in Sheffield. When Ablett died, Michael May purchased most of Ablett’s tools and his patterns. This history is another reason why I like it so much, as well as the fact that May used Yorkshire Maple for the handles. I came into collecting too late to get one from Ablett himself, so this is as close as I can get. I have read that May’s fit and finish might even be better than Ablett, but I cannot say for sure. However, none of the knives Sheffield that I have personal experience with, can compare to what we are used to with GEC.
