What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Just got this one, newest member of my modest TC family and really excited to have it. 3rd cut stag

I just saw the new one, Drew.  Looks like it will fit in well with all the rest. How about an update photo of your high quality collection? :)

Thank you both! I will try and post a family shot soon : )

I agree Charlie it’s a really neat run and I loved your concept of not wasting material that wasn’t typically used. And in my mind it’s beautiful look

Went to ace the other day looking for a new case knife, they had one display with all the staple case patterns and such. Then in the other side of the store I found it. They had a much smaller case display with some older patterns in stag and then 3 case barlows in pocket worn red bone. They were made in 2007 I believe and the man behind the counter said that they have just never been sold! So I snagged one up for $60 and it's been in my pocket since! It's my first Barlow and it's a great, solid little knife with excellent fit and finish!

Well done! The best kind of find. Nothing better than finding something special by just looking a little deeper. You have found your lucky knife!
