  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Vintage sawcut bone scaled Boker 492 that was rescued from a junk box. I replaced broken main blade backspring, removed broken pen blade layer. cleaned up the rusted main blade, reassembled the knife and it's ready to carry for many more years.

@ScottK - nice job saving the Barlow! How did you obtain a new main blade spring? Just curious.

I found my first Barlow. As some here on the "porch" know, I've only just started collecting Traditionals since November, so I'm way late to the party. However I found my first vintage U.S. Barlow, a Schrade 206.
I love it!.........Also I need more Barlow now
