What other outdoor hobbies

Yeah, you don't want to end up with 5 gallons of :barf:

Let me know how the carbonation goes, I haven't done that yet. It is a good excuse to drink good beer :D I love Grolsch but it's getting harder to find with the cool re-usable stopper thingies.

I have a specialty shop that carries not just grolsch but lagers, bocks, dunkels, weissens and all manner of yummy concotions in flippies....is it legal to mail beer. ;) Chris

Another Mtn/road/BMX biker here.

I had to build my own BMX to fit my 6' 2", 200 lbs. Used a Diamondback Reactor 24 frame and 24" wheel set.

I seem to work on em more than ride most days. My latest project is the restoration of a 1980 vintage 10 speed road bike by Takara. Still needs cables, tires/tubes and bar wrap.

This is how she sits now:

And a bad pic of my other other hobby:

That was my sons first bird. Age 14. He's 20 now. Man, time flies.

Cool bike, great shape too, and yes time flies. I've been wearing Army Green for going on 19 years now and my son is 19 and getting ready to put one on too, at least he didn't join the Army. ;) Chris

Cool Chris. My son puts on the Navy uniform on July 21. He's elected to be a Hospital Corpsman so he could end up in the desert with the Marines but we'll see what the future holds under the new administration.

Tell your son I said thanks.

Thank you. And good luck to your son, rough times for the military right now, it ain't in the news much anymore but it is still rockin and rollin over there. He will want to be where the action is but I hope he gets a nice, cushy, stateside medical clinic job. Chris

Don't have any pics handy but I do like to ski...downhill some of the time, across hills other times, and up hills only if I can't avoid it!

I like to mountain bike but I'm not very good at it because I don't do it very much...I do have a nice Kona but owning a nice bike isn't hard! Using it well is harder (for me.)

And of course I like to shoot guns!

One of my hobbies is metal detecting. This bugle is a Union soldiers hat pin in excellent condition . I dont know what its worth ,but its my best find ever.

Well, it is hard to follow MSgt's post, but I like hiking, hunting, and some camping. I used to do more archery than I do now.

Fishing
Hunting - bow, rifle, muzzleloader (deer and turkey)

Cool! That's a great hobby!

My biggest hobby is exploring the waste areas in and around urban centers. Retention areas, overpasses/underpasses, abandoned land/buildings, railroad tracks. I just recently moved to the Houston area and am in heaven, being in a new area.

Aside from that, some fishing, small game hunting, kayaking and general woodsbumming.

Runningboar - what are those hose thingies on the end of your snipers? ;)

I, personally, think your cheating:

Let me give you some action shots from this weekend:

Who is this? An unsuspecting player who has made it to our fifty? TF cannot have that:

p.s. For the record - I am a righty.

My other major activity is motorcycling; particularly traveling/touring (combined with camping, of course), and a bit of dabbling with long distance endurance riding (Iron Butt Association stuff). I have an '03 Kawasaki Concours for the long distance stuff, and an '05 Ural with sidecar. The Ural is a Russian rig based on a WWII design (copied from the Germans). Although crude and simple, it is surprisingly durable and easy to work on, and it will go through snow or on rough fire trails as well as pavement.

I'd also like to increase my involvement with guns/shooting beyond being just a backyard .22 plinker, and I'd like to try my hand at geocaching and arrowhead hunting.
