We are going exploring so I'm taking my white Explorer.

I'm taking a strong liking to my Recruit. I was concerned about the plastic scale at first but the handiness of the knife and minimum, but most useful, tools quickly overcame my concerns. I also have an Alox Army 1 (Solo) that shares top billing and a Mauser/Victorinox that I love but it's just too long to pocket comfortably and I rarely wear a sheath around the house.

Pre 1961 Fieldmaster:thumbsup: Spear main, clip secondary, saw, scissors, + PAT can opener, Scraper caplifter, square phillips, awl with no hole, toothpick and metal tip tweezer and bail:thumbsup:

Very nice knife Paul, I wish I could get some genuine single sided scissors springs for a couple of my knives.

Thanks Dan and I hear you in regards to not finding original single springs. I looked all over as I want to keep a vintage SAK original. I ended up tweaking a new replacement spring by snipping off the tail and bending it so it appears original.

I could not find original springs for the life of me. I heard that a well known youtuber that I watch often had an in but I never did reach out to himo_O:)
