Checked it out. Looks like i’ll get one or two but how do you add the Swiss cross? Definitely would want that on it.

Just a rough start. Used glue only an hour ago. Still have to shape and buff the edges and may use a couple rivets. (Yes i don’t know how to sew leather…yet)

Notice when i purchased this they had the normal silver box but this one has a red and white box?
They were selling for $45 but the add online said $34. Guy behind the counter pointed out the fine print “online order only”. But he worked his magic and forced a price match. $11 is 11 dollars. Just not sure meaning of the difference in the box? Old stock or special sale? Me shrugging?

I think Victorinox made a change from the silver box to the red & white box recently. The new Synergy Alox series also comes in the red & white boxes. So I guess it’s not old stock, but “brand new stock”

I’m digging this white Climber.
Hey are they going to discontinue the Evolution Series, Wenger style models? I saw a YouTube video saying it and that was 2023. Did Victorinox change their minds? Curious minds want to know.
If anyone knows of a thread on this subject let me know.

I snuck a quick bit of christmas shopping in

My older son loved Thomas the tank. Would play with them for hours on the floor while watching the show.
My younger son was more into matchbox size cars. I kept most of them in there plastic case they carried them in. Of course they are beat to hell but definitely part of the kids history.

I've belt carried this for the last few days. It's not as uncomfortable as I thought. I used it to put a new fitting on a garden hose this morning.

So my climber is a huntsman minus the wood saw. The Mountaineer is a huntsman but has a fine saw/file/nail cleaner instead of a wood saw.
A hiker is a climber except it has a wood saw instead of a pair of scissors. Do you see a pattern here? They put cool names on them so you need or might want to collect all the versions? At least that’s the conspiracy i see ATM. Oh my climber is a Super Tinker if it had a Phillips instead of a corkscrew? The combinations are nearly endless.
I guess there could be worse things to contemplate?
