Just arrived amid the remnants of our ice storm. FedEx driver had a hard time getting out of our ice rink Col Du Sac. Just spinning his wheels until finally carrying enough speed to get up the road.

Does this lanyard eyelet bother anyone else’s palm? It really digs in to the heel of my palm and is really uncomfortable? I notice it on the Victorinox Delmont series too?

Update. I used my knife sharpening rod and stoned the sharp edge off the protruding key ring holder. It’s much better. Still feel it but not nearly as annoying. IMG_5332.jpegIMG_5333.jpeg
You can see how sharp the edge was and how i rounded it off where it presses into my palm.
Looks rough under the microscope and i may do a better job with a polish while wearing my magnifying head strap setup i have in my shop.
 
I just learned they have a limited edition Alox (special color) in a nice box with year engraved. Apparently I missed it? Guess i’ll have to be ready for next year? Anyone can impart wisdom on how to get one next year let me know.
 
So the Alox glacier blue pioneer X 2026 limited edition is already sold out? And on ebay for a lot more$$$$.
Other editions are also offered still at least double the price? Why is the 2025 red stone edition still offered new at close to the original price? What am i missing?
