What SAK/Multitool do you have on the way?

So after a long time of searching and even getting ahold of some South African sellers and learning that they will not ship to the states and the inevitable frustration and giving up, my amazing wife found one of my grail knives and bought it for me. How amazing is she?! The emerald green SAK pioneer from the South African market should be here tomorrow! So excited! And I have to work all night. (3-11) which my mail always comes late so it will be at my house without me. I suppose I have waited this long for it what's a few more hours? I can't wait.

Congrats, Gabe! :thumbup::thumbup: Getting alox in unusual colors is a real treat; your wife is obviously WAY amazing!! :eek::D:eek:
Enjoy your weekend with an imported green Pioneer; I'm happy for you, but green with envy, too. ;)

Capt. I wish I could help you more. But unfortunately it was just paying premium for something I would adore. I may get back with you though. My wife happens to know a lady who has family in that part of the world. I may try to butter her up and see if she could do me a favor. I can at least hope for the best right?

YEAH!!! :D :p

I finally got what I was searching for years. Honestly, for years! An orange Alox Pioneer is on its way to me... :triumphant::triumphant:

Congratulations, Andi!! :thumbup::thumbup:
Enjoy that orange Pioneer for a while before you look at your current "wish list" again and start the next search! ;)

Indeed - GT! That will become a problem, at least for my wallet. However ... All the orange Pioneer were for prizes beyond the 100 € and this one came around for a little more than 60 € ;) So quite a deal.

The Pioneer wasn´t on my wishlist so, the knives I want (need??) for 2015 is almost getting longer.

Double congrats, Andi!! Getting a "grail knife" for a good price is fantastic! :thumbup::thumbup:
(But now I'm wondering, if you ever have to use only 3 knives until Christmas again, will the orange Pioneer be one of your 3?? :confused::D:D)

Well.. good question, GT. The last years challenge with about three and a half month or so with just three knives was a bet with (against) my wife. I was too arrogant and said "Yes" to the bet - there was the mess. It was a hard time but I managed it quite well. SAKs were excluded of the bet, as I need them almost every day at work. Hard time though, especially because the BF Knife was sitting in front of me and I couldn´t carry it :rolleyes:
But yes, I would ever do such a silly bet, I would include a Pioneer, propably a colored one, in the challenge.

Hopefully.... :p :foot:

Now the hard part. User for me, or do I tuck it way for a few years and gift it to my son whose favorite color is green.

Users (for me) require a backup copy so I'm stashing mine till then...my other colored Farmers are for my grandkids.

I've got plenty for EDC anyway and with my RA, I could easily drop it on the concrete and ruin it's good looks so I prefer carrying more "lived with" knives.
