If going to stay in/around the Blue Ridge, carrying a SAK is requirement for admission![]()

Thanks mi Amiga! Any road trip with my girls is a treat. Vickie took a spell behind the wheel so I could take a look at BF.I grew up in a house full of lawyers, professors, and proofreaders. I can't help it, I like fancy words. (and Oxford commas)
I wonder what kind of ink Schrade used on those old Scrimshaw Series knives.
Have a great trip, my friend.
Only if you require help getting out of your chair...Yeah.... I probably overdo it a bit...
Nice Schrade, Ed!
Sometimes ya just gotta let it out a notch

Thanks, Jack!![]()
I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about scrimshaw or the ink Schrade might have used, but am pretty sure Delrin is not absorbent at all.
Oh and I know nothing about inks either LOL ... but one thought I had was "epoxy ink" for Delrin and the like.
Sure enough, I guess epoxy ink is a thing ... I googled it HA.
Now if it is ideal for Delrin or not (?) ... dunno
EDIT: ... and might be too thick for scrimshaw (?)

My youngest brother and I, neither of whom are, to quote Waylon Jennings, doctors and lawyers and such. But we did pretend to be linguistic provocateurs. “And not only that...” is based on the interplay between Gilligan and the Professor.
Maybe they used a heat activated ink when they embossed the fake Scrim onto the Shaw? I’m sure heat was involved.
I absolutely love the album.Friday carry

Great pic. Reminds me of what my friends in stettler Alberta tell me about dogs running away on the bald prarie…they say you don’t have to worry because you can still see them running two days laterEnjoying the first day of the Thanksgiving long weekend. A Classic and a favorite of mine alsoI absolutely love the album.
That place is a lot of fun, haven’t been there in years although we did ride past it on the bike trail not long ago. The Clydesdales are beautiful. Hope you guys had a great time.View attachment 1657116
Continued vacation fun today by going to Grant’s Farm
Beautiful 77 Jake.
Nice selection of knives today, Gary. I don’t see those mini copperheads too often, but I’ve always thought they look like a cool little knife.Peanut-like Knife of the Week is a Case mini copperhead. I had no idea that I liked blue knives, but when this one arrived 4 years ago, I discovered that I adore at least one blue knife!

Lambsfoot of the Week is an A. Wright & Son rosewood lambsfoot that I call Union Jack. My wife and daughter bought it for me in Barnitt's hardware store in York, England:
