Looks very nice
how do you carry it so it does not open in your pocket?
I cant get used to the idea of a long metal tang sticking out past the handle, seems guaranteed to open itself at the wrong time if not sheathed.

I have he same issue with the Svord, how do people keep them closed in a pocket?

I had few past days. Some of them come with separate pouch, some have pouch that is attached to the lanyard hole of the knife itself.. sort of like triple action thing if you know what I mean.

You can also pinch the body closed so that friction on the sides of the blade holds it closed tight. That's what I have done on my two. I also laid a little piece of paracord in the bottom so the edge doesn't touch the inside when it's closed.

Oh, and my knives today are an ebony two-blade GEC Tidioute boy's knife and a red bone/CV Case peanut.

I'm still carrying the 66 jack today. I tried a couple more photos. A little better but still do not do justice to this fine knife. The blade polish makes it difficult to photograph without a lot of reflection.

I count this as my best GEC so far. Just edging out the Barlows and Boy's knife. Barely.

This knife is just a bit smaller than I thought it was going to be, but that is actually a plus for me. It feels very good in hand and is not at all obtrusive in the pocket.

Very nice, Ed. The #66 Jack is my favorite knife, by far. It has just the right proportions to perform greatly in hand and in pocket. The stag on yours one is just great looking. Congratz on that beauty, my friend. :)

Got both yesterday. First up the steel warrior little peanut. I'm really liking this pattern. Found it at my local hardware store while buying snowstorm supplies.

And this 55 arrived in the mail right before the snow hit. Feels great in the hand and the Bocote looks great on this one. Sharp as heck too. Sorry for the crappy pics.

It feels like there might be a hidden message in this picture but I can't figure out what it is.....the ring, the Dr. Pepper, the lockers in the background.....hmmmmmmm?

No hidden message, was on my break and just plonked my pocket contents out...the ring is my wedding band (star sapphire and diamonds), Dr Pepper is refreshing, the knife is also refreshing to look at haha.
