Excellent choiceLil Creek and GEC#38,
Thank you, and I have to agree. I prefer a patina on carbon blades, and I think on this model it is very fitting more so than usualJon, that whittler looks great with some patina on the blade![]()
Thanks! It’s probably one of my favorite GECs that I have. It’s had a lot of pocket time. That #15 is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!![]()

Thanks, John! I don’t let shopping cart slobs bother me, unless they bang my car.Ya, I though the picture was in poor taste...
People should respect their fellow forum members when choosing what they post.
Bad behavior seems to be more of the norm these days, sad really.
Hope your day improves and you have a fantastic weekend, my friend.
I have floated several knives past Dad in the last few years... a TL-29, various SAKs, a nice little gentlemanly Camillus #41 pen knife, etc, but no interest. He carries his trusty wee little Vic Classic everyday, and loves it. At 87, I know better than to argue! Thanks Gary. That's the knife I gave my Dad for Christmas about 18-19 years ago and he gave it back to me last fall. He would never use anything he thought was "too good" but I carry it from time to time. Bruce
Today's carry an old friend 6332 (with a newly touched up edge). Went way down east to Harkers Island today (it's blowing a gale, whitecaps in the sound, rivers, and creeks around here, lots of docks under water). OH

This Northfield 83 Dark Brewed Lockback with a Drop Point Blade is just a fine little knife for me too carry right now while I can not get outside and do any work . Shown with the spoils of aGary W. Thank you very much Jeff . With the weather as it was today , it bothers me that I can't get out even though I can physically get out and do some stuff on a decent day . I try to get in 1500 to 2000 steps a day plus my exercises and I am weaning away from the Cane . And I am very much enjoying Nancy's very nice cooking .I’m not surprised to see you back with your Dark Brewed, my friend~ I know you like it. And I don’t blame you at all.
Hey~ I hope the looong recovery isn’t frustrating you too much. Gotta be hard when tou’ve always been active. I was outside most of the day, and as you know, you did not miss anything weather wise.
Let’s talk soon, but in the meantime just rest up and enjoy your better half’s good cooking.
Wholly Successful!! That knife is sensational, both "before" and "after"!The stag 73s from 2015 always grab my attention.
Holy Hand Grenade!! That's mind-blowing jigging on your Orchard Gem!![]()
