Why carry just knife?

There is 2 sorts of people those with a Northwoods and those without 🤗

Its my very first.

Good

I love desert iron wood even the name sounds good.
The slip is a work of art,its like a leather knife block.
The knife is small yet perfectly balanced and I can see perfect for a lot of cutting jobs.
Its also easy to clean.
Quick posting, good tracking and packing is just right.

Sad

Despite its small, inoffensive size I cant carry it in England.

I had a job in the great north woods
Working as a cook for a spell
But I never did like it all that much
And one day the axe just fell
So I drifted down to New Orleans
Where I's lucky for to be employed
Working for a while on a fishing boat
Right outside of Delacroix

That sounds amazing... haven't shot pool or played poker in years... have fun!
Sounds like a couple of fun applied math units for your students, John!:thumbsup: 🤓

Peanut-like knife for me this week is a Taylor-Schrade 18OT Mighty Mite. Only 1 blade, with a liner lock, so it's not very Peanut-like except for size.

Stag/Horn Knife of the Week is a Rough Rider medium trapper with stag handle:

Lambsfoot of the Week is LamBarJack, my rosewood Hartshead Lambsfoot Barlow Jackknife, a Jack Black SFO:

Congrats on the handsome new Northwoods fixed blade!:cool::thumbsup:
It looks like if you get tangled up in blue, you'll be able to cut yourself free in no time! 🤓
If that knife turns out to be half as good as the song/story you quoted, you'll be a very satisfied customer.

I'm still one of the "without Northwoods" type of person, although I'd probably "switch sides" in an instant if the opportunity to grab a Presidential ever arose!

The stag on that Half Whittler is super nice, Harry. 🤠

Hmmmm... Now you have me thinking. 🤔
My 11th Grade Core class (Language Arts and History) got to play Battleship for the last half hour of class. It was right before the Thanksgiving break, so they were not motivated to listen to a lecture. I said, "Okay, if the Principal walks in and asks what we are doing, tell him we are studying WWII Naval strategies." 🤣
Look... Somebody left a Hartshead laying around. ;)
Wonderful knife and an excellent picture of it. 🤠
