It is a beautiful day here today in south Louisiana. We really enjoy this time of year.

black mamba black mamba , Jeff, I believe we acquired our stainless 73's from the same source. I was surprised we were able to get them so easily and reasonably. I got this one a few months ago. Aren’t they great? I could not find them on the GEC production lists. They must have only made a handful. I did find the Walnut version listed but not the Antique which is the one I believe that we have. Have you been able to learn anything? Yours is gorgeous.

A.L. A.L. . That is a wonderful red SAK and an even better photo! You make me want to go on a hike.

Sorry your weather is not so great Corto_Malt Corto_Malt , but your photographs are spectacular. If I ever start collecting European knives, you will be the first person I contact for advice. But lets hope I do not fall down any more Rabbit Holes!

OMG Jeff, Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund , those are some of the tastiest pecans I have ever had, fat and sweet with a slight crunch and just the right amount of oil. They were selling them partially peeled at the local Feed Store.

Enjoy the weekend!

A little planter box right outside the kitchen to save a “trip” out to the garden.DBD8DB10-BE19-477E-9107-B8671A2669F7.jpegI do love it when the seed catalogs show up in the mailbox.0A7EE58B-78ED-41A8-A471-018ABB92B3DC.jpegI took the Opi#10 out to cut some kale for my daughter’s omelette. Also chopped up a red onion (need to use those first because they won’t keep as long as the yellows), and shaved in a little smoked pork loin.397599BB-577D-4C30-9121-4662C1C3C7A4.jpegTook a look at my lettuces. Got down in the high teens (f) the other night, but doesn’t seem to have hurt them!

Enjoy your day!

Another beautiful knife that you show us Greg. Your pictures always make me want to add the knife they show in my drawer... 😍
It is with pleasure that I will accompany you in your research of regional French knives or others.
Don't hesitate to ask me.
Have a nice weekend

My Wife and I are taking a long weekend trip to Santa Barbara.
I've chosen a few knives to bring with me and these two were the first chosen... now I need to choose a few more.
Nice choices John, hope you and your wife have a great time. 😊👍
Nice stag Jon, the Salty Chief is looking good! 😄👍

Is that Ironwood Kevin? And, did you do something to the blades? I have a small stockman and a Jack, but the blades on mine don’t look that nice.

Headed to Chicago for my daughter’s swim meet. I’m sure we will probably have a few beers and some pizza as well. Brought my new Zippo Peanut. View attachment 1685530
Be careful, that blade might be too big in Chicago. I didn’t know there were zippo shields on Case knives until you shared pictures.
Nice stag Jon, the Salty Chief is looking good!
Thanks. The finishing touch, his anchor, came in yesterday.
