What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Circa 1950's Schrade 891 punch Stockman with well worn peechseed covers and steel liners. Rivals anything (build wise) manufactured today  :)

Great old Schrades you guys! Thanks for the view.

Very interesting knife there.

Like a scout but no bail, plus it has a coping blade, and that interesting combo tool with a liner lock too.
Is it supposed to also functio a can opener ?
I've only ever seen that stud on can openers before.
Thanks! It's called a Whitt L Craft and was design and made by Cattaraugus in the 1930's, specifically based on a questionnaire they had circulated with the BSA for a multi-use knife. :)

I miss my stockman. ☹️
It might be sacreledge to carry a Case and Schrade together in the same pocket, but I don't care.

Schrade Old Timer 858 Lumberjack Stockman, a Case Amber Jigged Bone 62131CV Canoe. 😁
That'll cover the Clip Point, Sheepsfoot, Spey/Grafting/Budding, Spear Point, and pen blade tasks.
For any drop point tasks, I have the Toferner Celtic pocket/neck knife.
No redundant blades. 😁

Great picture Jon, all kinds of cool stuff there and that Case is beautiful. 😎👍
Thanks. It’s their often used Caribbean bone. This one was made the year I sailed through the Caribbean to the Panama Canal.
Lotta nice bling, and a couple of very cool knives!
Thanks. They’re all the unit and Chiefs Mess coins I’ve been assigned to

Nice knife Bart, but the skating picture is really cool. You look like you know exactly what you’re doing! 😎👍

Thanks, Todd. I know what I’m trying to do. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn’t. 😁
Absolutely! My son is eighteen and out of the blue he asked me to go with him to a skate park he found when we were on vacation this past summer. We had a great time even though I didn’t skate. 😊👍

That’s awesome. Having fun with the kids ranks among the top of the list. I think you’re probably getting close to the point where it’s cool to hang out with the parents again.
