Thats a great story, show us more if you like.Had the Zippo Mini Trapper out tonight and dug a box of old Zippo lighters from a closet.
[off topic] HMCS Ojibwa was a Canadian submarine that is now laid up as a museum vessel in Port Burwell, Ontario.
In the very early 90's I swapped ships Zippo lighters with a seadog off the Ojibwa while in Papa Joe's, a dive bar just off U.S. Naval Base, Roosevelt Roads (Rosy Roads) Puerto Rico.
I was a sailor on the USS Bainbridge CGN-25 at the time. [/off topic]

Now that is a great photo, the way you have the child framed in the wire out of focus so the eye is drawn to the foreground first.Happy Hanukkah!
Thanks, Jack!

I have, but not for 30 years.....wondering if they do a bookmark of Pembroke Coll.? My place...You've got my bookmark,I always pick up a few of those when I go in the shop.
Have you been to the used section on the top floor, its a goldmine of great books?
My grandad was Royal Navy (the senior service)WW2 HMS Witch.Brass Zippo lighters from the ships I served aboard, representing 12yrs combined sea duty, seeing much of the 7 seas, with port visits to 24 different foreign countries both north and south of the equator.
Impossible to sum up the career experiences, things seen and done in one sentence. And not to mention the 8yrs of combined shore duty, on both U.S. east and west coasts.
But enough reminiscing, back to the closet with ye Zippos ... not you Mini Trapper ...
