What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm looking forward to seeing that beauty in person :)

I figured you'd have left home by now, so I was just sneaking on to post a pic of what I'll have with me today. It'll have to wait until later! ;)

Hmm...He should have gone out by now...

So, got my AW Lambsfoot, and a few ScruffUK hasn't seen before (and a couple he has), plus a couple more in my bag ;)

Top right knife, is that a Camillus? I have never seen one in NS and Stag before... Very nice!

And a mint Buck "Scoutlite" on my belt that I picked up last week, love it!

Well spotted Duane! :) I believe that the blades and frames were made by Camillus, then shipped to the old Rodgers factory in Sheffield, where they were then finished. They were then shipped back to the US, where they were sold under the Schrade-Wostenholm IXL name. There were at least two patterns produced in this way, assembled first at the Rodgers factory and then at Richards. Only small quantities were made, and none were sold in the UK, but the knife was given to me in 1981 by a one-time boyfriend of my sister (my dad got the other pattern), who was one of the last apprentice knife-makers at Rodgers. I don't think even the workforce knew they were made by Camillus.

Oddly, I only have a couple of pics of this knife (must take more), but here's one from Thanksgiving, which also shows Pete's Richards pipe-tool! :)

Today, I'm carrying the 2011 Bladeforums knife that Duncan sent me in the new pocket sheath ScruffUK gave me yesterday (pics to follow), and my Kabar Peanut, given to me by Pete :)

Today it's my new #62 Courthouse Whittler. This one and the ebony #66 are my (temporary) two day rotation because I just can't decide :D
And some microcontroller fun in honour of GEC ;)

Doug, that Craftsman looks so good. The main blade has a lovely shape to it....and, although long pulls really aren't my up of tea, it really works for this slender clip.
Very nice.

Fidel's patina is slow progress...

Very nice  I'd have had some pics up of my new pocket sheath today, but left my bag with my camera in it at my girlfriend's yesterday.

That Lanny's Clip always takes my breath away somewhat :)

Ulster Stockman and Colonial Jack ( The Colonial was a gift from Pete ). The coins, 1948 Two Shillings and 1955 Half Crown, are a gift from Jack Black

Thanks Jack!

Kris, I really like that O'Hare Sparrow!

Sturzi, I've had my eye on the Courthouse Whittler. Looks to be one that I'd enjoy carrying and using.

I really enjoy visiting this thread everyday!

Thank you. This is another one, like the peanut, that cuts way above its weight class. I am particularly fond of the sheepsfoot.
