I just noticed that all this trouble started up right after you fixed it from Scrteened to Screened.I skipped some pages. Life is too short, though mine may be less short than I was fearing.
As I read that CT report, everything between my ribs and my pelvic floor was totally rotten.
I saw my doctor today, and she says no, there's a good chance I'll live long enough to get the colonoscopy that is one of the recommendations.
So, mixed blessings. Still, I should get to work on my gravestone.
These are the Craftsman and Camillus I was talking about in this thread earlier this morning.

Indeed. And you would know!I can’t imagine using a serrated Spey for its intended purpose.![]()
Sure like seeing that Merry Christmas Trapper, and I, for one, think you should keep totin and showin it. Maybe through Easter. Or your colonoscopy, whichever comes first.Thanks. I'm sure she is. She is the doctor, after all.
And I don't mean she thinks it's a tossup whether I live to see a colonoscopy; she was quite reassuring.

The Case isn't a Christmas knife, but the colors are certainly Christmassy.

Yep, I get it…teaching is rewarding but man I look forward to June! Thanks, Todd. It is rewarding, and I really enjoy doing it. But that doesn’t mean I’m not looking forward to the end of calving season. Just 7 more weeks.![]()

Your white owl makes a perfect trunk in that picture.
Love the color on that oily creek bone.
A sheepfoot Imperial Barlow was one of the two pocket knives belonging to my Grandpa that Grandma gave me after he died. The Imperial was his everyday user, and shows it. I rehandked it in buffalo horn, which I do not recommend on a shell construction knife. Need to carry it soon.View attachment 1707273
Plastic covers today
That Boker looks a lot smaller than it did in your last picture, Todd.If this little snowman was real, it would be melted already! Temps in the 60s around here for the next several days. This little Boker is a lot of fun, it will be cutting open some presents Christmas morning for sure…good thing it’s a lock back!View attachment 1707343
