What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A very sturdy, steadfast and sharp pocket knife with an awesome and capable ready to work vibe in hand

We check our dignity and pride at the clinic doors.

So, ambiguously good news?
I skipped some pages. Life is too short, though mine may be less short than I was fearing.
As I read that CT report, everything between my ribs and my pelvic floor was totally rotten.
I saw my doctor today, and she says no, there's a good chance I'll live long enough to get the colonoscopy that is one of the recommendations.
So, mixed blessings. Still, I should get to work on my gravestone.
These are the Craftsman and Camillus I was talking about in this thread earlier this morning.

Only been a couple days, but I decided to switch the standard 301 stockman, for the 2018 BF 2 blade 301 stockman, in memory of all the Reindeer old Kringle Kris Kringle has butchered and ate over the millennia when they got too old and decrepit to pull his overloaded sleigh through the sky.

Also decided to swap out the standard 110 for my SK Blades "The Gentleman", with a CPM154 drop point blade, to complement the BF's 301's CPM154 blades.

Was at the doc yesterday afternoon for a CT and ultrasound follow up for thyroid nodule and knot high in my neck behind my left ear.
Doc said we'll just keep an eye on things and scheduled another CT and ultrasound for a YEAR from now ... unless I note a change in something.
My calendar is filling up for next year already LOL ... but I think they just want to watch me slowly die. Next ... due up for a colonoscopy.

At doc's check out, I asked the pretty office lady if there were Music Classes on the second floor because I thought I kept hearing something.
She smiled, laughed and laughed and said it was piped in music to their ceiling speakers. :)

Wish you all the very best of care and health, Jer. Hang in there !!!

I hope you last a lot longer than I do. You're important to a lot of people.
My doctor told me she is going to keep me going at least until I hit 92 (another 26 years) and that she will kill me if I make like a toad and croak before then.
Well shucks. Thanks.
And good luck to you both in her endeavor.

I aked my cousin the village elder to ask the guardian of our family plot if I can make my own gravestone, and she said it's our cemetery and we can do what we want. I'd be a poor sort of Welshman if I failed to save the price of granite by making my own stone out of concrete.

I hope you do well in your treatment, wishing you the best. Love seeing the Christmas knives, was browsing some on-line earlier, but I don't think they could get here before the 25th. I'm going to pull out a nice Red Bone to use instead. OH
Thank you.
I've enjoyed my dazzling Christmas knife. I think it will last me a few years.
Red bone sounds Christmassy to me.
