How do you like this 100 year old jigging? This one is a Challenge Cutlery Co. scout from 1905-1928.

I miss those early KnivesShipFree SFO’s with black, blue, orange, red, emerald green, and brown camel bone. KSF was an early pioneer in bringing new & exciting handle materials to GEC knives.

Happy New Year porch friends! Got the collards and black eyed peas going this morning. My wife is in charge of the corn bread. My morning started with the 86 2AB, but I see myself changing knives several times today. Likely to go with the stag 74 next, and finish the day with a caplifter (35 b&s or 85). Have a great day everyone!

Black eyed peas and collard greens here today as well, though my wife won’t let me help with any of it. Hope it brings omens for a great year.

Harry, Your data base efforts seem to reflect my dismal progress on mine. I started it awhile ago, and only managed to enter 54 knives of a few hundred. If I don't get back at it, it's gonna be too late!

Put my Don Morrow Trapper in my pocket for the first day of the new year.

I just counted the number that I have entered , because I do not have an automatic counting , and I number is 72 out of approximately 200 + . Good luck getting your's finished .

But after receiving this Case Bose HT Trapper I feel like this is the only Traditional I would ever need or want anymore It kind of scares me a little because I love all my traditionals so much lol.

The ice arrived about 4 hours later than predicted. That's good

Hopefully it will go away, or turn to snow before it has time to accumulate very much.

I forgot how nice this slim trapper in Black Cherry Winterbottom jigged bone is. That's either the problem, or the beauty, of having too many knives - you feel bad about neglecting them but it's fun to rediscover one
