What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Felt like some stag today:

GEC #72 was with me today... it´s a shame it didn´t get the pocket time it deserves and that I found nothing to cut today... just too busy at work.

The ebony just feels great in hand!!
Andi, I used to think that model was funny-looking, but every time I see your photos I think it looks better & better.

Ah, yes...

GEC ebony two-blade boys' knife with the remains of this morning's strawberries still on it and a Case peanut in black G-10/as-ground SS:

Strawberries at this time of year?
Nice pairing there Blaine.

How do you find that G-10? I really like it on my CASE Slimline Trapper, durable yet attractive, just a pity the knife has a horrible raised spring in open though:mad:

Today I keep moving promiscuously between three White Owls: carbon Tid in Ebony, carbon Tid in Kryptonite(such amusing stuff!) and stainless GEC in Light Chestnut bone. These are a really excellent pattern, just the right size for my tasks anyway.

Thanks, Will

Thanks Alex! Unfortunatelly light was nearly gone when I took the pic this afternoon. So it´s a little coarse (I don´t know the exact term).

But the knife performs nicely in the pocket. I definitelly need more to cut for this little fellow... and hopefully some nice patina will show up some time.

Mateo, it's been great see a few progress shots of your carving. The finished work is great. I love the style and the detail in the head, nose, beard etc is smashing.

Thanks for sharing your talents and really showcasing the knife with your skill.

Naked surfer? Is that like the Silver Surfer, only less shiny? Looks like he's missing a hand... attacked by a vicious balsa shark? ;)
Nice job carving that, all jokes aside.

I"ve got this pair: my Tidioute toothpick with purple bone covers, and Queen Mountain Man lockback. Two of my favorites! :)

Thanks, for your comments, everyone can do It, no jokes. I've never whittled before march last year and this one is the 17 or 18 I've made. The early ones are barely notches on a piece of wood, but with a sharp knife is a good learning trip.

I tried to make him wear a wetsuit and those neophrene things for the feet(don't know the word)
Actually was a vicious toy duck from the bathroom :D. (I cut too much too soon for not paying attention) I tried to show the teeth marks and the bone.
