You're certainly welcome. I hope you get your White Owl's bolsters "cleaned up" to your satisfaction.

And my, you have good taste in knives. ;)

I like that mauser knife! can we see some more please mate? what other tools does it have, steel type etc??

Thanks Samon. I should get round to taking some better pics (only had it 31 years! :D )

Might I recommend checking this SUPERB SAK resource http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Mauser

They are liking Unicorn poo btw.

Not seen that before mate  Only realised just recently that my old EDC was 'collectibe'! :D

GEC #72 was with me today... it´s a shame it didn´t get the pocket time it deserves and that I found nothing to cut today... just too busy at work.

The ebony just feels great in hand!!

You're getting quite a collection of those GEC's young man! :)

Very nice  :)

Thanks Jack - I do my best bringing those nice knives across the big ocean :)

About your second beer from above... Frankonia has the most small breweries in the world. These guys make fine bavarian beer. Good taste, Jack!

Nice knives everyone! Really are some magnificient pieces in this thread.
For me today its an old (early 40's?) camillus I scored off the bay recently. It didn't have any scales, and the rivets were badly beaten. I just finished putting the finishing touches on it and getting it scary sharp. The new scales are made from a piece of moose bone, with brass pan head bolts and epoxy to retain them. The knife cleaned up surprisingly well, just may have to stay in my pocket for a few weeks at least!

Need to get some pictures on line. Sort of new here today I'm carrying the same Case XX 3 inch fixed blade I've carried for 15 years. It's an M3 FN SS (actually 3 and 1/8 inch blade). I alternate between it and my Buck Stockman most days (had it a little longer). Though now and then I carry something different. What's the use of a knife collection if you don't mix it up sometimes.

That is a Winchester "Black Box" Yellow Bone Congress, made by Blue Grass cutlery made by Queen Cutlery...lol!

Dug this one out yesterday with the thought of possibly selling it. Just made sense to carry it today:thumbup: Gotta love that Matchstrike pull:cool:
