What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm glad it's back on duty again. I'm curious how it's going to age with use. 🤠

I’m looking forward to seeing how a non- carbon knife will age also. Probably just going to look all scratched up. 😁

I really like the idea of carrying one knife all the time like you do with your lamb, but I’m not too good at executing that.
Good Morning Porch Friends
I'll be Totin' my Usual Lamb...

And my Eureka for Fun Friday, Thank You Taylor. :)...

That spear and coping is all you’ll ever need. Of course the lamb could probably do everything you ever need.

Posted the main part of my carry in the French Friday thread, but I've also got a stockman with me.

While some don't find Micarta to be "traditional", I think it's a more "natural" looking material than Delrin. I definitely like Micarta. 🤠
I don't usually think of Micarta as being "traditional" -- but, I think the OD Micarta suits that 92 pattern beautifully. Looks great! 👍👍👍

Will, I prefer the pronunciation of Laguiole like in the South of France. It sounds to me like ... Lay-ole
Most in France however pronounce it slightly differently with a 'g' and 'u' in there (which it has in the spelling) and sounds to me kind of like ... Leg-uole
Neither way I say it sounds like French LOL, as I am from the deep South part of the U.S. with our own, often quirky way of speaking.
FWIW, the card that came with a recent arrival from Laguiole Imports had this to say:

How do you pronounce "Laguiole?"
The old pronunciation, in Occitan, was preserved
This is the reason why one says "Layol" :)

Your grandson has excellent taste. 😁👍

That orange should make it a little easier to find if you venture outside tomorrow and for some reason drop it. 😁

Improved(?) and updated carry for Black Friday.

EDIT:
I discovered at 11:45 the can opener on my Böker Magnum Scout/Camp knife don't work worth a Grizzly Bear' hoot. (Staffette asked me to open a canna Green Beans for the lunch veggie.)
Therefore I benched/shelved/retired the Böker and put my black jigged plastic covers 1947-1954 Imperial Engineers knife in the game.

Olamic Voykar fixed and a GEC 77.
