USS Texas, my uncle served on that ship. Quite a character!
Now that’s a proper looking blade Brian.I'm carrying a favorite today.
A gorgeous Red Trout sheepsfoot made by Eric of Alber's Cutlery. I'd say I hope Mr. Lanigan is resting easy, but I'm not so sure that was his style. The man was an exceptionally gifted raconteur, and I wish I could have heard more of his stories.

I feel like it’s always a little risky when I try to open multiple blades at the same time.Nicked a cuticle while positioning the S&M pen blade for the photo
That black knife looks very familiar. I’m pretty sure my Dad used to carry an orange version sometimes when I was a kid. I’m sure he still has it around somewhere. I feel like someone else posted one of those a while back that made me think of my Dad’s knife also. When I put the morning's jeans in the wash, I found I'd been carrying the Normark, too.

This is one of my Sunday carry knives. Very nice.Just this 33. Smaller than what I would regularly pocket. But it packs a punch!![]()
Great picture as usual Bart.Eureka today. I love the little wharncliffe on this one.

Opinel are good slicers for sure, but for me they lack the feel or the soul or whatever you want to call it that some of my other knives have.Old Reliable and my Opinel today. It's easy to take the Opinel for granted, but if I wasn't a knife knerd, I could easily just carry this $17 knife every day. It will do every single task I expect a pocket knife to do, and do it better than most of my other knives. (But I would really miss this GEC 97!)
