It's called Jigged Brown Bone on every reference I've seen. I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I do. The ebony looks nice to me also. What color are the scales on your Eureka? Chestnut? I think I like them even better than my ebony, and I like my ebony alot.
Two great ones there. That top one is very interesting.
Yikes. How does that happen?View attachment 1739695 Ohh dear...

I love the Eureka, John. Starting to get a little patina.

I checked to make sure we were in the right thread this time.![]()
Nice findGreat find at the antique mall. The bone is like hard candy, I don't know how old this is but it's sharp the pull is an eight. No wobble and excellent walk-n-talk. It's about the size of a gec 14. Cleaned it up and in the pocket it goes.

Jose'
What is the Wenger at the bottom? Not familiar with that model. Nice tool set, but rather large.
I love that micarta, looks like nicely worn denim! This knife has some work pants on!![]()
The 71 Bullnose is usually always on my bench. It serves as my beater GEC knife. The edge has been reprofiled to a slicey 17 degrees and it’s definitely a much better slicer than my forum knife which I found the factory angle to be at 27 degrees. I might need to reprofile that knife soon so it can be just as slicey as the Bullnose.
