Funny story... We used to gather cows on three wheelers (I'm dating myself there). Until one day I ran over the boss' daughter when she fell off of her own three wheeler. She was fine but the owner was a little mad. After that I was only allowed to gather on horseback.

Sounds like that worked out to your benefit. Those 3-wheelers were dangerous; although I’ve had some crazy things happen to me with 4-wheelers and cows also.

Sounds like that worked out to your benefit. Those 3-wheelers were dangerous; although I’ve had some crazy things happen to me with 4-wheelers and cows also.

It was a couple of days into summer after 7th grade ended that I got to ride a three wheeler for the first time, roaring down the dike on a friend's rice farm (in the Pleasant Grove area, so pretty close to where you work now, actually). It was a couple of days before summer ended and I started 8th grade that I got the armpit-to-fingertip cast removed.
