Eureka jack again today with a Pflueger reel I have that was my Grandpa’s. Inspired by Todd’s bigfish64 bigfish64 picture yesterday.

I’ve never heard of a spotted cow but I imagine they’re good. Have fun !🍺

Used to pick some up to take home, but it never tastes as good out of the bottle so I quit buying it to take home and just enjoy it when we are here. A9E66CAF-D6FE-4EA8-937A-CEC7172443C6.jpeg

That’s a fantastic picture Bart. When I get home I’m going to get a few others out for pictures. I’ve got some of his old lures also. 😊

Fantastic picture. 🤠
Thanks, John!

Looks good👍 Not being able to get it all the time probably makes it even better.

That’s a fine looking piece of headgear, David.
How old are those Schrades?
Man, Rick. I’m ebarrased to say I don’t know for sure. Sent me off on a search through old knife threads.
Here’s something cool I learned~
The govt basically drove Schrade out of using bone scales, with increasing regulations, licensing, procurement documentation, and tighter restrictions on using and disposing of the dyes.
So Schrade went to Rogers for their bone, but the sudden and huge increase in orders made Rogers fall behind. To help, Schrade sent Rogers some of their drying vats.
One of those vats caught on fire, and caused an explosion that destroyed the Rogers Ct factory. And that was when they started using delrin.

I’d guess both of mine come from that early delrin era, maybe early ‘60s?
But now that you’ve got me curious, I’ll keep looking.

Toting a thrifty Hammer/Imperial from the late 30s and the first issue Imperial Cub Scout from the late 40s. :)
A great-looking pair JJ, that Cub SCout is a really special knife  :)
Thank you very much, Jack!!! :)

Your right on time for the US west coast; hope you and your Lamb beauty had a great time at the market! ;) 😁
LOL! :D Thank you my friend :) The weather was a bit raw, but I had a good time anyway :)
Better late than never, Jack. :)

Interesting information. For 60 year old knives they are in excellent looking condition.

That's very interesting, and entertaining. Sounds like a cursed company. Thanks for sharing it, Jeff. 🤠
