Hanging out in the hotel, getting ready to head to the RecPlex. The relay team my daughter is on was seeded 6th, last night but finished 2nd. I’m sure it was because of the luck the IRJ was bringing so I’ll carry it again for her individual events today. 😄4240BD74-8FBE-4651-87E3-5951E504FEA3.jpeg

Necessity is the mother of those who help themselves and dont throw stones in glass houses,or something daft like that.😂

My fence started to go down,so I screwed screws into the top of 3 of the supporting posts and tethered it to sturdy branches on tother side.

My other connecting fence also coming down is my neighbours responsibilty so ive just done the same for her (we work together as our houses are joined).

I used the saw on my Farmer to remove small branches/tight spaces around the main trunks, thankfully I had a big roll of para cord to use.

We tried using tent pegs but the ground is so wet they slid out as soon as I put tension on.

My sheds roof cover ripped off and flew into the garden of the club nearby.

I got it back but its not in good shape,so I just tacked down the edges of what's left, problem is I cant reach the far side.

I was nearly blown of the stepladder, I had to take my cap of as it wouldn't stay on,I am non to steady anyway but this is a very powerful wind coming on.

Came in had a cup of tea and a peanut butter and strawberry jam sarney now going to watch tell and cross my fingers. 😁

Actually I think I will have another cup of tea while I sort out these nails in case I need more, why not?

First rule of mens sheds how ever many nails and screws you have you will not have the size you really need when a job comes up.🤣🤣🤣
