What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Me, or the jack knife?😗
Thanks, Bubber~ oldies have a story to tell.

Thanks, Jack!

Me too, Rachel. On the edge of madness.
No Ukrainian knife here, but the last time I re-tubed one of my amps, I found a guy in Ukraine who sells some great NOS tubes.
I hope he’s ok...

Even though Halloween is a ways off, it’s good to make plans for the future.

I hope you were able to get home in time to stave off water damage! This is definitely the time to keep an eye on sump pumps!
With the ground frozen, rain and melt water has nowhere else to go. Been there/done that.

No, the g.grand daughter & knife is the better photo!
I’m jealous. Three granddaughters 800 miles east, and two grandchildren 1000 miles west😟

I vote peen and keep, but I’m partial to rosewood!
Thanks Jeff. Had to replace the sump pump and we have been drying it out. Afraid the carpet is going to have to go.

Fantastic picture, my friend. 🤠
I'm not surprised the lighter stayed still... Trout don't move when it's cold. ;)
So true! 🤣
Talk about using what you have to make things work. Where would you be without that leftover sleet? ;)
Thanks Jeremy, I can always count on you to see the bright side. 😄👍
Yesterday and today so far.

"...half a rav..." 🤔
This is how snow depth is measured in St. Louis! 🤣🤣🤣0181CB83-59CE-4DD3-8F75-14CE30C37B37.jpeg

Looking good Bart, how’s the calving going?
Thanks, Todd. The last of the calves were born early last week. It went well, lots of happy, healthy calves!

Yesterday we sorted out some replacement heifers from last year’s calf crop to breed next week; and we will sell the rest in the spring.
We can live vicariously through each other's knives. 🤣
I live vicariously through a lot of knives I see here 😁

It does my heart good to see a forum knife getting some ranch work. 🤠:thumbsup::thumbsup:
I try to use them all and that one is well-suited for ranch work in my opinion 👍

Happy Saturday!

Enjoying the weekend. I hope everyone is doing the same.

I was doing some soul searching while cleaning my knives, trying to rank them. Found out I just love all of them, especially this Barlow.
That’s a great one Mark, I’ve looked over my knives many times also and arrived at the same conclusion about most of them. 😊
Those two are awesome, Harry. Love the grain on the ironwood.

Spent the afternoon changing the brakes, rotors, and a wayward lug stud that decided to snap when I was taking off the lug nuts to remove the tire.

Looks like you had some good help Jeremy. 😊👍
