Wonderful knife, absolutely cool. 🤠
It's weird when you start reaching retirement age and all your friends start leaving before you... makes you feel like you got left behind at work. 🤣
It is kind of reassuring to see your HHB every day... like looking out to see the sun come up again in the morning. 😁
I like everything about that Boker FB, apart from the name.
Boker has been pretty dumb with their names lately.
I can see the Barlow influence in the design, and they should have just stated it as such.
But to be completely honest, I might not have given it a second look if it wasn't for the word "Barlow" in the description.

I have a lot of knives in Du Pont Delrin. Or as 50% of the internet says, derlin. I like it, especially jigged, but sawcut is fine, too.
So I think this will be called Delrin Domingo.
Schrade 233 jack, and Schrade Walden 294 Serpentine Jack.9652014F-EB12-4EC1-872B-D49E584498D3.jpeg0106EF65-832F-49E8-8E0D-74CCBC441F4A.jpegThis will be the fourth or fifth Sunday that we go down to Lombard to help out my wife’s parents. Mom slipped on the ice and broke her kneecap, and I never realized what a slow healing process that requires. As usual, I did some cooking for them, this time a slow cooker full of beef, potatoes, and carrots. The smell in the house is maddening. Better try some, just for quality assurance purposes.A40BE377-8B75-486C-882C-7B0D738ED3A9.jpegHope y’all have a great Domingo!

Enjoying the weekend. I hope everyone is doing the same.

I was doing some soul searching while cleaning my knives, trying to rank them. Found out I just love all of them, especially this Barlow.
“Favorite” is overrated. Too subjective.
What I do is ask myself, if this was my only knife, could I live with that?

If the answer is no, I wonder why in the blazes I bought it.😁
Hmm. I notice that every time that Chip guy comes on shift, there’s a plant outage...
Kind of a bitter sweet day. Went to a retirement party for a guy I’ve worked with for 28 years. Lots of retirements going on lately and reality is I’ll be there soon myself. Took the 15 with me tonight.

Can’t fight city hall, or Father Time, Jim.
It’s better to retire young enough that they can call you a gray haired man of action, like me.😗
