Beautiful!! I hope to hear some long term impressions!

Every once in a while I give my EDC a thorough coat of Renwax on everything even in the bladewells. It takes quite a while to do it well but its worth it. As you can see after one night forgetting to wipe my prints it etched into the bolsters, springs and blades...just overnight. I don't mind, I always have this happen, but today it prompted me to give it a once over. Here is how it looks, I don't like to polish, just renwax.

Alan,

Another stunner, the knife but especially this picture. Gosh.

I've just copied [a few of] your pictures of this ebony #25 over to the GEC 25's- Got's 'em? thread, so I can see them there, too. :)

(If you'd rather I hadn't, I'll take down that last post.)

ed. Whoa, Groove-- congrats!

I look forward to seeing a Lot more of that knife. :)

big and small today

What a pair!

Amusing to me: the Pemberton makes the Lloyd barlow look smaller than it is, while the barlow leaves me with the impression that the Pemberton is larger than it is. :)

(Were the knives both open or closed, the effect would be quite different!)

Very nice composition.

Thanks! Nothing says "Outlaw" like having a flower on your knife. LoL.

Another quality American made 4" stockman today, maybe the best of them all, IMO.
Great design, great jigged bone, great steel, perfect size.

Schatt & Morgan Series IX Stockman, model #043109.

Thanks guys! And you're absolutely right P. here is another shot I took that didn't come out quite as nice. Looks like the Pemberton is getting a free ride on the back of the hard working barlow :p

I also learned something from taking this shot...the blade on the Lloyd is magnetic! Especially near the spine where the long pull is...I don't know what what could cause that...anyone have any ideas??
