Propably we really should do this... maybe we can get some other members...... because just we two would be some kind of strange...
I'm carrying mine today.![]()
Does this count?
(...even though it's the big 'un?)
Ok... we have several members - now we still need a really cool name...
The Texas Jacks isn't cool enough? Hold the embroidery!![]()
Robert - it´s great to see this old battlehorse in good hands![]()
I like "The Texas Jacks"..... I wonder how many of us will actually be from Texas?
Doug - that bone is such a stunning cover on the shown jackknife; just beautiful!
And of course Woodrow is a regular Texas Jack carrier!![]()
I've only had this thing for a couple of weeks. Due to work, I'm often subjected to blades 2.5" or less (that's 6.35 cm for those who've moved on) and the Texas Jack fits. I also like the blade combo better than my medium stockman. Still, I like my Canoe for this job too.![]()
I am totin' the same knives I've had in my pockets for the last week. Went on a 4-day vacation across the water to Victoria, with my sweetie. We often go there to enjoy the 270 degrees of waterfront (a peninsula) of our historical Provincial Capitol. World's greatest Italian Restaurant, and an antique row that has often turned up a nice Sheffield knife (very British don'tcha know!) are among the treats to be found there.
No knives this time, but a fine, old, long string of cherry amber beads was not to be ignored!
Accompanying Old Boiley, and Mr. To-Mah-To, who provided incidental cutting tasks, is said aged necklace. We share a love of antique and First Nations beads.
