I've been carrying this old Union stockman in m.o.p. all week. I'm really impressed by how thin and slicey these blades are. (not to mention the crisp swedges and matchstrike pulls on all three)

Fox Livri

I've only seen photos of those, but they're very interesting. I love my Benchmade Proper (carrying it today, in fact) but it would be hard to say exactly why I love it. If I did a review, it would mostly be complaints about all the details that are just slightly off. The Fox Livri looks like it captures the spirit of the Proper while resolving a bunch of those little issues. The one thing that had me hesitate about the Livri was reports that the edge hits the lanyard tube when it's closed on some of them.

I'd be curious to know what you think of it.

The knives I usually buy often have some rust and light pitting on them when they come in the mail ! Maybe we should convert to stainless.

Edit to add: Primble, every once in awhile, we put on our camo and sneak across the border into Wisconsin. There’s a joint in Twin Lakes that makes Cinnamin Roll French Toast. A HUGE cinnamin roll. I usially get that and a “side” of hash browns which cover a full sized plate. Mrs Fkeschwund rolls her eyes.
