Not my normal Saturday carry, but I really wanted to use this new slip fromsbh06 . The canoe is my only blue knife, and it just happens to have been made the same year the Blues won the cup.

As I peer into that dandy of a pic, I can hear the whispers and am revelling in those shadows![]()
Gorgeous knives Jimmy, I’m more of a secondary behind the main type of guy if I have the choice.View attachment 1758510View attachment 1758511View attachment 1758512
Any preference on the positioning of the secondary blade?
In front of or behind the main?
Quite a looker, Ed! Sometimes you need a blade with some belly.Sticking close to home today. We had about an inch of snow last night with more to come this evening and tomorrow. No telling what will happen but in anticipation of warding off snow flakes, I'll be totin this Farmer Jack an SFO made by GEC for Mike @knifeswapper at Collector Knives.

Totally agree about those swedges and pulls, Rachel. Glorious old stockman, my friend.I've been carrying this old Union stockman in m.o.p. all week. I'm really impressed by how thin and slicey these blades are. (not to mention the crisp swedges and matchstrike pulls on all three)

One could say that’s an art, or labor of love, cleaning an antique without removing the patina. Great, and probably painstaking work, Rob.The knives I usually buy often have some rust and light pitting on them when they come in the mail !Maybe we should convert to stainless.
That is a nice model you show.

I'd give that Puma 4 stars as well José!
Well done, Jeff! Both are certainly unique and a great backstory on a rescue and rebuild!
Your WCLF gets better everytime I see it! Nice, John!

Yes, right on Lake Marie just past the high school. Some Sunday we should meet up for breakfast! Is that the little restaurant down by the lake ??? Like Omelets a lot , but one of them is too much for me . Did not know about the Cinnamon Roll French Toast . Twin Lakes is just 4 miles South of us .
