Majestic photo. Glad you had fun out and about.
I think I'll carry mine a bit today too.
Thanks, Will.Very aesthetic duoThe Osage on my 73 is a lot more dull these days, just brownish but it's very durable wood for a tough working life. Always liked those Böker Whittlers, very well finished and practical pocket-knife that looks good, that's what it's all about isn't it ?

I think this is the only GEC pattern that was fitted with the twin fluted punch...

Thanks Bart, we did.Sounds like a good time. Have fun!
Check the neighbors’ moss. It might be greener on the other side of the fence![]()
Chestnut CV Swayback that’s “the other side of the fence” kind of knife there.I’m carrying my swayback jack today.

Nice picture Mike. For the first 5 years or so that we lived in our house I tried to grow grass. I finally got tired of fighting it and let grow whatever would grow. The moss won.View attachment 1758641
I have moss taking over parts of my yard here in Missouri and also down in Tennessee. Places where there has been grass for decades. Not sure what's causing it.
Went out in the yard to take knife pics today and discovered mole hills and twenty or so feet of burrow. It was not there yesterday View attachment 1758643
So far today it's been the 2018 BF knife.

Beautiful John, good to see the white bones out today. What beautiful knives those turned out to be…oh what could have been!
Thank you, I did. I got there early and found Ichiban, Ping Tung, and some third kind I can't remember. I went out and turned over the soil, and will wait until next weekend to plant, I think. Now I'm on the lookout for some peas or green bean seeds...today will be a putter around indoors kinda day.Three good workers there RachelI hope you found some eggplants

Okay guys, I'm inspired to switch what's in my pockets now. Maybe I'll cut up some fruit and get the patina going a little better.
I wish I could grow moss, but it's far too dry here. I have found that if you mow the weeds short, it kinda looks like grass.Nice picture Mike.
