Thank you, I did. I got there early and found Ichiban, Ping Tung, and some third kind I can't remember. I went out and turned over the soil, and will wait until next weekend to plant, I think. Now I'm on the lookout for some peas or green bean seeds...today will be a putter around indoors kinda day.

Okay guys, I'm inspired to switch what's in my pockets now. Maybe I'll cut up some fruit and get the patina going a little better.

I wish I could grow moss, but it's far too dry here. I have found that if you mow the weeds short, it kinda looks like grass.

It sure does!
All I have to do around here is rake all the leaves back and expose the soil and in a few months the moss starts, within a year, it’s think and actually quite attractive except for the brown spots from our dog.

Carrying my Boker BFF and a 3 1/8" vintage Browning Stockman, Stainless and Dark Walnut. Nice little Japanese knife picked up from Gary W. Graley on the exchange. Arrived awhile back with Gary's signature screaming sharp blades.

Edited to add: I didn't realize it, but the BFF is also walnut, and the background is the top of some old 1980s speakers with walnut cabinets,
