What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

You certainly are having the full range of weather conditions.
Great photo, my friend. Hope the kids aren't too bad, it's Friday on top of it.
Thanks John, the kiddos weren’t too bad, we made it through. 🤣
Thank you, Bart. :)
I just got it yesterday.
I tried to not buy it, even waited for a week, but in the end I just had to have it.

I did some research on Bamboo before buying it. Turns out that it's very durable stuff.
It makes great reel seats also. 😊
Wow Mike you guys got hit pretty good, thanks for not sending it my way this time! 😊👍

Happy RED Friday everyone
Sweet picture Jon, good to see that slip again. 😊👍
Howdy folks. It’s been a while since I’ve checked in. Haven’t been much of a knife nut lately and I’ve stuck with the same ones for quite a while. Freyr is 6 months old now and happy as can be.

Saturday Buck Fever Cure
Clip and Drop, Slip and Lock ... pick two
Buck Fun Fact: Did you know that a Whitetail Buck is capable of jumping higher than the average house !!!
This is due to its powerful hind legs and the fact that the average house can't jump

Happy Friday!!

Totin’ this Otter I picked up recently. Nothing fancy, just a good solid working knife with a carbon steel blade. I had a 3 Rivet model a while back but it was the smoked oak variety and smelled like stale sauerkraut (I guess they all do because I had a small sodbuster that smelled the same). I much prefer the Sapelli wood covers on this one. Fit and finish on this one are as good as any of the other brands that I stalk too!

Didn’t have to set up by my computer to check for “drops” with maniacal fervor to acquire it either!

Oh, and I REALLY like the little otter eating a fish etching that it wears!!

Full agreement with you, these are very good well-finished knives with a long pedigree.

So I'll follow your example with relish

Your Lambsfoot looks great in the sunshine Bart, that shot of the geese is really cool. 😎👍
Yes indeed, and whole fly rods too. ;)
Yep…that was a really silly oversight wasn’t it? Shocking! 🤣🤣🤣
By the way, I’ve heard steel makes good bolsters. 🤣
Good Morning Porch Friends
This Lloyd is going to be hard to pry from my pocket... I'm not going to even try.
Resistance is futile. 😊👍
