What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Ukraine needs a hero who is able to stand up to Putin. Biden is over his head, but I am pulling for him because I pull for our Nation, I pull for the World.

If you haven't learned how to make fire and sterilize water, now might be a good time. It's not a movie.

Does it really? I thought it was just for liners? 🤣

It really is. 🤣
I put all my years of experimenting with different knives, coming up with all the must-have features, and picking the quality and style that I know i'd appreciate every day... and this one checks all those boxes. All my other pocket knives cried when I finally ordered this one, they knew their days of compromising features were numbered. This Lloyd will be at home cleaning fish, or cutting my steak, trimming leather, or impressing knife people that know quality when they see it. It's both exciting and sad to finally find your "forever knife".

Can we get a look at the spine of that knife and the well John JohnDF JohnDF ? Nice knife.

I got some surplus style/bushcraft gear for the end of the world but have been researching into ultralight grayman pack too lately. Today I practiced ranger burrito. My dog was weirded out. 😀 Stay safe!

Good Morning Porch Friends
Carrying my new Lloyd Bamboo Trapper today...
That new Lloyd is 🔥🔥🔥, John.
We're supposed to cut things with our shiny cutting tools?! 🤔

Something new and something stainless are my excuses for lack of patina on today's choices. 😁

First, those are awesome knives!
Second, I whole heartedly recommend you get a JX6. I love mine so much I have another on pre-order to get it in my preferred red linen micarta. I originally got it for food prep, but it excels at everything and carries great in the pocket with the provided sheath. For me it is as close to the perfect knife as I have handled and used. I’m just saying I went into it because I wanted a knife for a specific reason and fell in love.
Thank you, Jon. I will definitely have to consider one now. All of my favorite materials seem to be sold already so just gotta decide on something!
Lamb foot today.
