What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Camillus Boy Scout 72, and a Case SB Jr.
This may be the first toting of the Case. I like the Bull Nose better, but this is a fine little Case.
It was a Presidential campaign trinket from Mr Hanging Chad, and had his mug embossed on the handle. Nobody else bid on it, so I got it for less than the postage fee🤪
I thought I’d rehandle it in something from the dog chew aisle, but danged if I don’t like yellow delrin. Luckily, some sandpaper cleared up the political graffiti, and it’s got a comfy satiny feel now.F9B20745-2A24-4C08-A5D0-942AE73BCF9A.jpeg6FA99F5D-D19A-405F-BA8B-36BA0B63F23B.jpegInspired by Old Engineer Old Engineer , this is a flea market scored harness hame mounted on a nice old red elm shovel handle that I bought from an old gentleman in the Ozarks in the early ‘80s. I’d broken the handle on an antique shovel, and my step-granddad knew of this guy. He was way back in the woods near Mack’s Creek, and making and selling tool handles was his profession.

These two should see me through the next few days just fine. Hope everyone is having an excellent weekend.

By the way, I’ve heard steel makes good bolsters.
Does it really? I thought it was just for liners? 🤣
Resistance is futile.
It really is. 🤣
I put all my years of experimenting with different knives, coming up with all the must-have features, and picking the quality and style that I know i'd appreciate every day... and this one checks all those boxes. All my other pocket knives cried when I finally ordered this one, they knew their days of compromising features were numbered. This Lloyd will be at home cleaning fish, or cutting my steak, trimming leather, or impressing knife people that know quality when they see it. It's both exciting and sad to finally find your "forever knife".

Great knife and I’ll bet that bamboo will still be around after the end of days when only Keith Richards and cockroaches are roaming the earth!

Looks like a knife that would be good at whittling Todd. I’m happy to carry the slip again with baseball back
It sure does. 😊👍

I didn’t think 4 blades would be enough on a rainy day
That’s hilarious! 🤣
Well Jon, we have sunshine here today…of course it’s 15 degrees! 😊

That’s fantastic John. Congratulations buddy. 👍
Wonderful picture, Todd. :)
I like that you use old school fly rods mixed with modern reels and equipment.
I'm kind of the the opposite, I like modern expensive fly rods and cheap old school reels. 🤣
I did have several older reels on my fiberglass rods but just really found I enjoyed the large arbor and smooth action of the newer reels. My wallet wishes I didn’t. 😊
