I’m right there with you on the sharpening. I haven’t messed anything up, but many times it doesn’t work out as well as i think it should. Not sure why.Thank you, Sacto. It is one of the first knives I acquired when I started collecting just about 7 years ago. I kinda messed up the edge angle sharpening freehand on the stones,
still learning the sharpening game. After 6 years of trial and error I'd rate my sharpening skills at only slightly better.![]()
Thanks, Jeff. We’ve got a little more in the forecast; we’ll see if it’s enough to get us through the spring and have some feed to leave for the fall.I’m glad you got some rain on your pastures, Bart.
I spent a couple of hours re-doing some garden beds, and it was a real pleasure walking on the soft, thawed ground. And I was happy to see the lettuce I planted last fall is up and growing.
Wow! That one is stunning.
I love the look those micarta Boker barlows.
Thanks, ToddGlad to hear you got some rain Bart, the Eureka looks fantastic.![]()

I like the Ruger 22 Magnums and your 23 a lot . Good photo too my friend .Customized single six, look like 22 mags there? Relevant knife content…love my traditional knives and single action revolvers. Super Single Six I bought over 40 years ago with my 23 Beavertail, a nice woods combo IMHO.View attachment 1767921
