Good trip! And great eating!Had these two in my pocket on my first crappie fishing trip of the season. Filleted the crappie with this old LL Bean trout knife. No slabs today—-just 9 1/2--11“ but good eating size. Found them suspended in 15’ of water, but they’re looking at the shallow water to spawn in any day.

Looking forward to those pictures Gus.Thank you kindly Todd !!
It’s a great one and the bloodwood sure darkens wunderfully, without loosing it’s glow
Starting tomorrow, we’re getting a serious thaw and I’ll start shooting some more in that ravine close by.
Thanks Bart.Thanks, Todd

Thank you and I use a DSLR with a normal 50mm lens most of the time. It gives a nice perspective with little distortion. Sometimes I use my iPhone. I just go outside and try to find a place with good light, nothing too fancy.Stunning knives !!! ... and your photos are always impeccably impressive. May I ask what kind of camera you use?
Great combo.![]()
Thanks Jim and Tim, my favorite run of Eureka's was in 2013.Really nice 92 Eureka. 2013 was a good year for 92's.
Thanks - it was an old, beat up flatgate Single-Six I sent off for customizing that included fitting a .22 mag cylinder.Customized single six, look like 22 mags there? Relevant knife content…love my traditional knives and single action revolvers. Super Single Six I bought over 40 years ago with my 23 Beavertail, a nice woods combo IMHO.View attachment 1767921
