What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you, Bart. :)
The Spring Break has been great. I've got to spend a lot of time with my wife and we've been making the most of it. We get out during the day and do some fun stuff, then relax after dinner and just talk and watch TV. It really has me looking forward to retirement when we can do this every day.
That sounds perfect!

Wow 🤩
Well, steel-heads are really something !!
Many stories to tell, and one of my favourites is before I had ever landed one.
My pals were catching 2-3 daily, with about 6 hours total starting at about 6am on the river bank. I had just casted and as you would imagine never having caught one, I had become quite the scout. I tangled my line and was sorting it out as one of the guys about 40 feet away says “keep your hand on the line, don’t worry about the rod !!” Would you believe it… as he just finished speaking in a screamed whisper, out of the water and about 6 feet high, jumps one of the most beautiful of the species I’ve ever seen. It’s scales were chromed just like a old Buick’s bumper and it was about 3 feet in length!!
It spit the lure out right at me as I was maybe 10 feet away like saying “gotcha!!” The worm was still on the hook, never bit on it !!
Now, there was yelling and howling from all three of us, I told you so’s and what have you lol… Unforgettable !
Haven’t seen a bad 38 yet, I’m sure it’s a fine catch
:thumbsup::thumbsup:

New additions up to 2021. Not seen anything I'm interested in from GEC so far, but the year is young. Getting it might be rather more difficult however.....

Great collection of GECs through the years, Will. I am sure something will be along shortly. Elephant toe not doing it for you, the Northfields are great.

It's always the big uns that get away. That's why they are so big. Don't get me started on the ones that got away. You'll be sorry you got me going ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

It was raining when I got up this morning but the rain has rapidly turned to snow. Staying at home except for a quick mail run this afternoon so nothing major is likely to happen; however, you never know so, I'll just tote this Scout Trapper in case snow bunnies attack me on the mail run.
