What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks Jack. 😊👍

Those are cool knives, I need to carry mine more. Yours is aging well. 😊👍
Thanks Todd, I just realised I forgot to post a pic of my Barlow! :D
Best anchor shield I've seen so far. 🤠

Good Morning Porch Friends
Thanks mate, your Lambsfoot looks good in black 'n' white :)
Thanks a lot, Jack!!! It's definitely a variety pack. :)

Very cool photograph of your Ankermesser; it looks like you could drop anchor and have a nice fishing day! 😁
Many thanks JJ, that's a nice thought :D
Toting these two covered in ebony, the Lambsfoot wearing the Jack Black Bagpipe version. :)
Those two pair nicely together my friend :)
Only traditional today was my Charlie lamb, but it was more than sufficient to get the job done.

Hooray! 🥳 :)
I don't think Sheffield knives have the best reputation on the forum. My main interest (a vast collection of 6) is around Solingen made three-blade Whittlers. However, I've recently become a bit more interested in 'local' and patriotic towards the north of England.

A single blade A. Wright Ettrick. Love it, cheap, simple wood scales, no superfluous branding, etching, polishing, great snap and strictly utilitarian. Feels comfortable in the hand for a bit of casual carving or whittling.

Cool user name! :D There are many Sheffield knife threads here, and the older ones are certainly well regarded by many here I think :) You should check out the Ettrick thread

The Injection in my hand today has gone well.
I am taking it easy but changing my watch battery was no hardship.
My classic Victorinox case back opener wasn't needed as its a screw back, but I did use the scissors on my old champion.
I think Vic scissors are superior to many dedicated scissors.

Stay at home day today so thought I'd carry this Remington. I don't carry it much but enjoy the jigging on this knife. Very handy size - 3 1/2" closed with 440 Stainless blades. It's a hit at the Wagon Wheel Cafe when it's pass your knife around the table for everyone to get a look see.

Thats a nice one,like it a lot.

Went to visit our oldest daughter in North Carolina. Part of the time we visit Topsail, NC and found some fossilized shark teeth unique to that area. Great time hunting with the grandkids. TC Barlow went along for the trip.

I used to pick up fossilized sharks teeth on the beach in Venice, FL when my Mom and Dad lived there before passing. It's a fun hobby.
