Pretty knife and photo!
Nice pair. Is that Camillus sporting bone covers?

It's cold for late April here, too. Down into the 60s at night!

Thanks! I decided to make it a Double Boker Day.

60 degrees at night? Prayers sent!
It was 30 when I woke up this morning. Typical for April...

It’s funny. I found the Camillus down in a box full of dirty and worn out cheap scout knives at the fleamarket a few years ago. A little sticker said $6.00, so I didn’t bother haggling. It was pretty shabby ~ full of grease and dirt, and what I thought was delrin was faded to an ugly tan. After soaking and flushing, most of the snap came back. Then I dyed the scales with brown Rit Dye, still thinking it was delrin. But since delrin doesn’t have the little pores and other giveaways that bone does under a magnifying glass, I finally realized it was indeed bone.
And I think short line stamps were used from 1946 to 1950, so I <think> if it wasn’t bone, it would have been Ivoroid or celluloid.
Happy (late) anniversary, Jeff!!

Beautiful EJ, Bart. Wish more parents would read and heed signs like this.

Two great knives, Todd.

Only traditional today was my Charlie lamb, but it was more than sufficient to get the job done.

Thanks, Jeremy! Love seeing any of Mr. Charlie’s SFOs. Nice bone.
Evening porch people 👋 Been a busy week or so for me, did sharpen this one up on my new KME sharpener the wife bought me for my 44th. Surprised a how useful and dangerously sharp it is!

I had to look up KME...
Nice gift from a nice wife, and Happy Birthday!
Congrats on that steak… and of course your anniversary!
Yes! Priorities...
Thanks, buddy

I had to fetch a light blanket back out of the closet last night, but I'll persevere somehow. 😂

I didn't know Camillus ever made a 68 in bone. Nice find!

I know it's Wednesday, but I feel like carrying this pair today.

Went to visit our oldest daughter in North Carolina. Part of the time we visit Topsail, NC and found some fossilized shark teeth unique to that area. Great time hunting with the grandkids. TC Barlow went along for the trip.

I could be way off base, but I don’t want to stick it with a red hot pin to see if it melts!
Dang it, now I want to know. Not that it matters...
See post #3331

Charlie recommended, but try at your own risk.
